In 1947 MGM composed The Cat Concerto, Warner Brothers. Released a very similar gags cartoon called Rhapsody Rabbit, direct by Frizz Freleng, with gags against an unnamed mouse. Both serial used near exact crackers, the same by Franz, and had happy ending. MGM, indicted each other of plagiarism, after serial were submitted for the 1947 academy awards ceremony. Technicolor was indicated of sending a print of either cartoon to the beet studio, who then supposedly paraphrase their equal work.
